Rice Krispie Treats TX Style
Summary
An old recipe, but a satisfying one indeed.  I have a bad habit of not measuring anything, so bare with me.  Keep it simple.

When it came to the Rice Krispies I just pulled out the inner package of Krispies kind of squeezed the package at what I thought was about half and just pour them in.  They came out wetter than the recipe that was measured on the box from years ago, but they came out my very best.  Chewy not dry and a lot more buttery than what I remembered the old recipe to be.  Write and tell me how yours came out.

Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 package marshmallows
½ box Rice Krispies
3 squares bakers chocolate

Directions:
Using cold stick of butter wipe a thin layer on bottom and sides of a 9''X9'' square baking pan.  Set aside.  In a medium microwavable bowl melt the remaining stick of butter for 60 seconds.  Add the whole package of marshmallows to the butter and microwave for 60 seconds.  Stir until smooth.  Add Rice Krispies to butter mixture, stir until well coated.  Press mixture into 9''X9'' square baking pan.  In a small bowl on top of a plate, melt 3 squares of bakers chocolate in microwave. in  two 30 second intervals.  Stir chocolate until all is melted and smooth.  Pour over the top of mixture and smooth out.  Refrigerate for 15 minutes, until chocolate has hardened.  Serve.
