Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:
2 pounds of beef stew meat cut into bite size pieces
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
2 cans Golden mushroom soup
2 cans French onion soup
2 large cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 package (8 ounces)  cream cheese
1 container (8 ounces)  sour cream

¼ cup of chopped fresh or dried parsley
6 cups of hot cooked noodles or rice for serving (if desired). 

Directions:

  1. Mix beef, onion, soups, mushrooms, parsley and *Canadian Steak Seasoning (from Sam's) in 4 quart slo cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 6-8 hours or until beef is very tender.
  3. Stir cream cheese into mixture until melted.  Stir in sour cream.
  4. Serve mixture over noodles.
NOTE*  McCormick's is no longer making Canadian Steak Seasoning, but they are still making Montreal Seasoning.  It's not quite the same, but it can be substituted, just add in garlic, salt and pepper to the Montreal Seasoning.
