Ingredients: 3 Fontanini Hot Italian Sausage Links, casings removed or bulk 8 oz. pizza sauce 2 tbsp. green onions, chopped 2 tbsp. green pepper, chopped 2 tbsp. fresh basil, chopped 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese pinch of fennel seeds pinch of oregano breadsticks or sliced toasted baguette for dipping.
Directions: Brown Fontanini Hot Italian Sausage in a saucepan, breaking up the links with a wooden spoon. Add green onions, green peppers, basil, fennel, and oregano. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
Add pizza sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes and then remove from heat. Slowly add cheese, stirring to melt it in. Serve immediately with warm breadsticks or sliced toasted baguette for dipping. Enjoy! |
